Our design and fine gardening team is committed to creating and maintaining landscapes that we feel proud of being a part of. To us, this means

 

• Prioritizing plants and their care for drought tolerance and habitat creation

• Incorporating native plants whenever possible

• Reducing waste by incorporating materials already on-site, when possible

• Reducing plastic in the environment, ie: no artificial lawns, no landscape fabric or weed-blocker fabric

• Supporting soil health by mulching and composting and leaving old leaves, flowers and debris in place beneath plants

• In constructing and maintaining landscapes, placing higher value on quality, thoroughness and appropriate compensation for hard-working landscape crews over price. (We love this piece on “land and labor”)
